James Mitchell is backstage, trying to convince Abyss that he needs a one-on-one world title match, and that Abyss needs Mitchell to lead him. James asked for once chance.
Raven was in the ring, celebrating his NWA World Heavyweight title victory, when James Mitchell interrupted him.
As Mitchell and Raven were going back and forth, Abyss attacked Raven, leaving him laying after a Black Hole Slam. The show finished with Abyss choking Raven with his chain.
This was the first on screen pairing between James Mitchell and Abyss, that would last for over a year.
