After defeating Sonjay Dutt, Kazarian got on the mic and started gloating. He demanded to be made a member of Team NWA X-Cup team. He asked for someone with some power come down and give him what he deserved…which was Abyss.
Frankie offered a handshake to Abyss, which he accepted – only to be pulled into a Black Hole Slam.
Abyss then offered Sonjay a handshake, Sonjay gave Abyss his hand, but when he turned round, Abyss attacked him – giving him a running Shock Treatment. Goldylocks was then shown, signalling Abyss to come to her.
Later in the show, Abyss would attack Sabu during his match with Monty Brown, putting him through a table, then staring down Monty Brown, until Goldylocks took Abyss to the back.
Abyss debuted a new black mask at this event, and it was the first time he would wear his black leather style pants.
