This was a Five Way King of the Mountain Match for the NWA World Title. It featured Abyss, AJ Styles (Champion), Monty Brown, Sean Waltman and Raven – who replaced Jeff Jarrett. The winner of the match had to hang the title up.
You must pin someone to be eligible to hang the title and if you get pinned – you must go in the penalty box for two minutes.
Before the match, we saw Abyss backstage looking into a mirror – then smashing the mirror.
AJ jumped off a ladder onto Abyss to start the match.
Abyss became eligible by pinning Monty Brown after a Black Hole Slam. Abyss got taken out for a while after AJ hit a Spiral Tap from the top rope to the outside – putting Abyss through a table.
When Abyss returned from the box, he pushed the ladder over – making Waltman and Styles go to the outside, then as Abyss climbed the ladder, Brown pounced him into a table. Raven would eventually hang the belt up and become the new NWA World Champion.
